title: Formula 1, Sunshine Ray
Stacy gaved me tickets to Formula 1 this year, ( thanks gf for the tix)
on friday,23rd!
Being a sua-ku,
I haven been to such "big" events in my life,
so decided to join in the fun and crowd this year.
Now, I truly understand why... people around me ( probably those who are not interested in such things) always bragged about them not wanting to go event when there is free tickets offered to them.
Firstly,
it was such a pain getting to the place. They blocked off promenade station, and the only station accessible was city hall. Everyone ( those in zone 3,4) had to walk from raffles city - down into esplanade mrt -cross singapore recreational club- along marina square - walk pass madarin oriental - pass ritz carlton before getting into marina bay platform. it was a long and hasty walk.
the first race practice ended at 730. while everyone was walking out, yelong and I decided to walk in and wait for the next race to start. I was initally v excited, but the long walk tired me out. especially when fillipinos..angmohs..and prc are all around me, irritated the shit out of me. haha.
lucky for us,
when we arrived, some drivers were stil pracitising.
so we had was just glimpse of cars passing thru. and very loud pericing sounds.
we din know the 2nd round of practice started, no news no nothing.
just suddenly, alot of cars just flew by.
a few rounds,
i got rather cranky, so we decided to go home.
anyway, we had quite a gd view of MBS and raffles place from our seat.

Regardlessof anything,
it was a ' good' expeirence.
most probably my one and only time watching formula 1.
Tuesday,
Yelong and I both took leave.
so we decided to spend e day with rayray and joanne.
such a lovable boy.

treated her to jap food.
and yelong was busy runing around..carrying ray..chasing after him..
displaying sich fatherly aura.
rayhan was mostly carried by him and I tink they share a very love-hate relationship.
haha.

i checked in at TM,
cheng saw and decided to pop by to say hello to ray and us.
we spent the whole afternoon at joanne place catching up.

title: Post mid autumn & heng heng curry
We celebrated our post mid autumn on Wednesday with lots of joy and laughter. Our very important missing in action Loi decided to join us. It has really been long since we last met that girl!

Aunty cook sphagetti and treated us to chicken wing and satay.

<3

I tried heng heng curry at marina square on Friday.

We had sudden craving for curry and couldn't tink of anywhere else to eat. Expensive! Dinner was on me that day and I felt it was super Bo hua and not filling! Haha.

Oh have I mentioned that Yelong and I have been cooking alot or rather trying to cook.
We tried our hand on sesame chicken and bah chor steamegg.
The chicken was really too salty we added in so much of salt and too much of sauce. The egg was plain; too little sauce and too little salt! Haha. Got it all mixed up.
But we had fun experiencing new things and well, practice makes perfect.

title: The first week of September
Fluffy had seizure twice last Sunday. One at 530am in the morning and one at 830am. We rushed her to the pet immediately after that.
She was fine when we reached there. Now she is on medication hopefully it will stop all these seizures
I had breakfast with sis and Jiabao at greenwoods avenue.
They serve very good American breakfast but sadly in very small portions.

Scramble egg with cheese.

Night time, we celebrated bro's bdae at kianseng.

Last Thursday, I persuades myself to jog. Nowadays very lazy to even pack my shoes and attire in the night.
We had ajisen after that. Ohhhh, sinful!!! I guess the running didn't help much we were just dead beat tired and hungry and decided to eat something nice.

On Friday, I met Jiayi at balmoral plaza in bukit timah for dinner at spizza!!

Wanted to try their rivioli but this is nothing compared to the one we had at capricci.

Seafood spah!

And egg pizza.

I met jingjie , peiyun after that for ' after work ' drinks at eski bar.

It was mad cold halfway thru so we had no choice but to borrow their jacket.

On Saturday,
We had dinner at seafood paradise at defu lane with yl and his friends.

We ordered two crabs! Yums!!

At night,
We celebrated mooncake festival with my family at my granny house. First time bringing him over to meet mu extended family.
They had the best latern making competition for the kids. So interesting.

Met Sheryl for supper at geylang beef kway Thiao and decided to stay over yl's house that weekend.
I'm off to bed but before that,
Happy mid autumn to all.
