just came back from ttsh. colleague was ran down by a bus on Sunday, her left leg was amputated. all it left was her upper thighs. see already si bro heart pain, si bei gek sim. I hate to be seen in such awkward situation, I feel terrible becos all I did was to keep quiet I didn't say a word of comfort. I didn't bear or dare to peep into her eyes in case I start crying. all it took was a grave mistake, which costs her a pair of legs.
wished the bus driver could be more responsible, more attentive enough to notice a 60 year old lady crossing the green light in her favour. while her bones ate badly smashed, she hit the bus and told him to stop, all he did was to say a sorri which then took away one of her leg.
she is such a mobile person, our coffee lady, a person who delivers letters to post office fr us daily.
all I could just do was smile, nod my head and watched her tear in silence, but none of us could do a single thing.
dearest ah keow, is hard for you to accept things, but please be strong and all of us are waiting for you to be back, be it a year or so. get back on yr feets, an artificial one will do. all of us are praying.
meanwhile, please cursed the bus driver who sped and took away her dearest limbs. you will have your retribution.
